I found a lovely new browser, which is apparently popular in Japan. :D

It's called Sleipnir. It's a very customisable browser, where essentially I can do everything I can on Firefox, but at half the cost of memory. I can also switch easily between Firefox's and IE's rendering engines, which means when I want to I can easily use the messaging system without switching browsers, and other such situations.

It takes some getting used to, and there are some drawbacks. For example: no AdBlock. But, if you're willing to experiment a bit, I recommend this browser!

Yeah, but it runs soooo much better. If you look at the memory usage, you can see the difference

This is basically just like Firefox. Just like _Chrome_ is pretty much _Opera._
Opera came first and I like it a lot. =P

Seriously though, I'll have to give this browser a try.

Are there any ad-ons at all? If not, it makes for a pretty shoddy browser.

There aren't a hilarious amount, which is another problem. However, there are add-ons: http://www.fenrir-inc.com...

No adblock means do not use it, because of this site's ads. I used to use only Opera until the ads came, but then I had to switch to Firefox. FF's startup time got annoying, so now I use Chrome (AdThwart ftw).

Until this new browser gets some adblock, I will not use it.

Trust me, I'm looking into how I can ad-block, though I haven't had a huge issue yet.

Talking, floating ads count as a huge issue. Until then...

I downloaded it. It seems pretty cool, but I can't get it to let DDO's drop down menus work. I assume one of yall has already figured this out?

I haven't had an issue, I just click it. It might be a setting problem.

If you really like Opera the latest versions don't even require an add-on to block ads, just right-click the ad and hit the block filter option, it even blocks related scripts so I only had to block one ad and haven't had any since.

I have Opera 10.50 and when I click on the ads on the left side, I see no block option.

Odd, all I had to do was right-click he ads. Here's another way to do it, not as easy but you still don't need any third-party software.

So I'm using the browser right now. I will say that I enjoy it. It isn't completely without its problems but they are few and far between.

It's probably going to be easier in the long run to create a urlfilter file.
