I recently deleted every single icon off my desktop including my Recycle Bin. I'm pretty sure I didn't delete the bin itself (or if that's even possible -- you know I suck with computers) but now I can't find the bin at all on my computer. I tried searching for it somewhere but it didn't come up. Can anyone tell me where it's located? Thanks in advance :)

In Vista: Control panel > Appearance and Personalization > Personalization > left hand side: Change desktop icons > select Recycle Bin under Desktop > apply

why would you do a silly thing like that?

Because I like having a clean desktop. The only thing I use on this computer is Firefox which is found easily in the taskbar.

If the trashcan icon annoys you, you can change the image at the same location you reset it to the desktop (requires .ico image file) or drag it into your start menu to take it off the desktop but still have it easily accessible.
