This morning i plugged in my iPhone and it's charge was almost gone. Typically i hardly use much of the charge at all. I turned on the device and i saw that i left the last page as Facebook. Even though the iPhone was dark (off), could there be a power drain from Facebook?

How long was it off for?

Maybe 10 hours. It was fairly charged prior.

Well, things do lose charge even when turned off. Was in a cold environment? Did you turn it off completely, or was it on stand-by?

Stand by, and it's been anything but cold here. Guessing from your tone it had nothing to do with facebook?

Arguing with an atheist about God is very similar to arguing with a blind man about what the Sistine Chapel looks like

Mayhaps stand-by was the problem. I'm guessing that + Facebook (Which does run flash and other programs unless you had the skimmed down Facebook Mobile on) would give it a low battery.

For example, leaving my PSP on stand-by uses little energy. Leaving it on stand-by with a game in it consumes much more energy. Just a theory.

It seems fine now, so i guess all is well. Thanks.
