9/24/2009 7:25:52 AM Posted: 1 month ago Aesthetics? I agree with Rand on this one: It's the selective re-creation of reality in accordance with the artist's metaphysical value judgments. In other words, how the artist perceives the complex world is personal, and they should portray their reality and/or our collective reality through art, by depicting what is interesting and important to them, and by the subconscious value judgments that their particular feeling grows out of and embodies. Indeed art and aesthetics are very important :)
