Poetry has always been a passion of mine (reading, not writing) and hopefully others here on DDO. Post some of your favorites here =D

1. "Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost: http://www.ketzle.com...

2. "Ulysses" by Alfred Lord Tennyson: http://www.poetry-online.org...

3. "Walking Around" by Pablo Neruda: http://oldpoetry.com...

PM me if you're interested in some DDO chess.

I don't read much poetry, but I like what I've read of Billy Collins, former poet Laureate.
Super perfundo on the early eve of your day.

I'm a huge fan of Emily Dickinson.

I died for beauty, but was scarce
Adjusted in the tomb,
When one who died for truth was lain
In an adjoining room.

He questioned softly why I failed?
"For beauty," I replied
"And I for truth,--the two are one;
We brethren are," he said.

And so, as kinsmen met a night,
We talked between the rooms,
Until the moss had reached our lips,
And covered up our names.

That's just one that I have always liked.

I don't know much about poetry but I have always loved The Tempest by William Shakespeare, which is actually a sonet, but close enough I hope.

The Unknown Citizen comes to mind.
First and current President of DDO. Or dictator, I don't really care.

If you aren't prepared to kill for something, you shouldn't make a law about it.
