As I'm sure you are all away, Facebook is forcing us to change to the evil and disgusting thing that is timeline. But my question is, it has "born" as an event..will it also have "died" as an event? Presuming Facebook will retain it's dominance, will they continue to store the timelines of long deceased people? Perhaps my descendants might be reading my "timeline" in the future. A bit disturbing to be sure.

Discuss.

That's a pretty awesome thought to me. I think Facebook will become obsolete eventually, replaced by something better.

The idea that my grandkids will be reading my statuses is pleasant to me; when Timeline came in, I thought "oh no! all my old posts are going to be seen!" but when I looked through them, I couldn't find one thing I'd said that I didn't still stand by.
