lol wut? And anyway Family Guy is funnier in my opinion. The Simpsons is too 'goody two-shoes' moral for me and Family Guy is more adult.

The Simpsons dominate this match-up easily. Family Guy may throw in more attempts at humor in a single episode, but they are random and instantly forgettable. You don't actually care about the characters, stories, or gags, which means episodes don't have any replay value. The Simpsons is funnier overall because we've been given the chance to actually care about what each character is doing.
"And when it's Diwali, do your Hindi, Sikh and Buddhist friends corner you and demand "Where's my laddu? Where the hell are my Indian sweets?"

Meh. I like Family Guy better only because I actually still watch it; I haven't seen the Simpsons in forrrevvverrr.

Yes, there is really no storyline to Family Guy. If you cut out the random clips and references you might find 5-7 minutes (out of 21) of actual story. Someone should do a study :) The Simpsons isn't very entertaining, but for different reasons.

The characters always end up doing the moral thing in the end. The Simpsons doesn't make as many sex references as Family Guy.
