Now I remember why I wanted to do a factions themed game.....
Understandable... but this is how the beginner series works... Next game will be role madness and pressuring for roles will actually make a difference..
Next game will be factions themed, but what I dislike about this game type is 1) it's largely Mafia favored 2) if the Cop dies, it turns into shooting in the dark 3) until the Cop gets a guilty it's just a big...
"So....whats your role?"
Yeah I suppose that's true... The past 2 beginner series seemed to work out ok, cuz the newbs actually claimed for some reason... but I see your point..
what is 'factions theme'?
Won't reveal much, besides that there will be TP, Cult, Masons, ect.
Basically, I'm trying to teach them as much as I can about basic DDO Mafia.
The idea is to teach the rules progressively.. Going from a themed game, to a vanilla game, to a themed game with TP, cult, and masons seems counter-intuitive and overly complex...
But since its already out of order anyway, I guess why not.. just be sure to explain what all that means in the OP, and make sure to explain and add flavors in that game or in the 4th game... I also think you should consider asking a few mentors to assist the newest players, given the complexity of the game you have in mind.
