29.5C / 85.8F in October!

Not in the Bahamas or Hawaii: their weather hasn't been so hot, I'm talking about here in England!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk...

It's an all-time record!

I spent all weekend racing up and down the Thames on a speedboat wearing no more than a pair of shorts!

Autumn is forecast to return, though, with frosts expected by Friday.

85 in Boston over the last couple days, very nice.

On another note, probably the worst year i've ever seen for foliage in New England.

*shivers*

Anyway, this weather is terrible. Fall trout starts next weekend where we fish, and some hunting seasons have already ended. This is terrible weather for these activities.

Yeah, it was too wet and warm for the bright colors. On an up side, i heard the beaches were great over the weekend, which is unheard of in October.

Global Warming doesn't affect immediate temperatures. If it did, then the theory would have been invalidated with last years SEVERAL nation wide snow storms. There was snow on the ground in every state except Florida in the January 2011 blizzard.

We certainly need a sarcasm label, like the ones we have for Bold, Italic, Underline.
