10/19/2009 5:32:52 PM Posted: 1 month ago I am so tired of all these steps that are being made towards improving the security. Don't they know that privacy is a right that shouldn't be restricted these ways? They're into monitoring of everything, from phone calls to web surfing. This is horrid, and I think the average person should step up against it. Wherever you are, there's a camera recording what you're doing. Whenever you speak on the phone, it's going to be recorded. Whatever website you visit, it's going to be recorded. I'm not even sure if people will define privacy as we do today if these kind of steps are being made in the near future. What's next, putting GPS in our shoes and watch where we're walking? It's horrific.

It will only be people who are suspicious and I think this might help us catch many more criminals. However, allowing our government to listen on cell phones gives them way too much power and if they were to become more corrupt could use this to control the populace. 10/20/2009 1:48:43 PM Posted: 1 month ago *ahem*. Nobodies asked me since I live in the damn EU?
Anyway, this is big shock to me. I have no problem with these things as long as we know they're doing it. In so far as that, we can object to it. |
