Someone make the case why physical fitness should be an important consideration when considering candidates. It seems to me to be purely an excuse for expressing hatred. Newt may know 500 times as much about any issue of national importance, but, by golly, if you can find a way to be superior. Right?

FDR and Taft are two past presidents who were not fit. Was that relevant?

Should we amend the constitution so Arnold can run for president? He can wipe the floor with your candidate, whooever that might be.

FDR and Taft didn't have to debate on national tv, like it or not physical appearance has a lot to do with being president nowadays.
Also I don't like the idea of Newt Gingrich, who, even in his most prime years, wasn't physically fit enough to serve his country in uniform, deciding to send countless kids overseas to die for no reason.
