I don't think it says anything about Obama and his relationship with the public. The media is just making something out of nothing as they always do.

Democrats have always been marginal in Virginia, and given the fact that the Dem is going against a popular GOP candidate, this is no surprise.

It doesn't mean much for Obama or Democrats anywhere.
