Tell you what, Mirza. When you get back to debating in a few months, I will debate some of these points with you. You sure are cocky for an 18 year old. I was studying these subjects when you were in diapers. Sometimes the big dog needs to make the little pup cry. It will be good for you to learn some humility.
If you studied these matters for decades and have such poor understanding of the subjects, I think I am rather fair in being "cocky." Also, the cocky ones are those who generalize Muslims as if we were all the same. 1.5+ billion people scattered around the world, and people expect us to behave the same way everywhere. It's shameful.

By the way, don't overestimate your debating abilities. So far my perception of your arguments is rather negative, and even tBnoone can do better (even by plagiarizing).

I'm not generalizing about Muslims. Once again check what I wrote carefully before going off at the mouth.
I have no problem giving my opinion on Islam and the Qur'an and Sunnah, as I have spent a lot of time studying those sources.
I don't however, judge those I don't know. Once I meet them, or discuss subjects with them, I think I am free to form a judgement.
As for how you will fare against me....
We shall see.

I never said you spew that out of your mouth. I said "those who." That's for example the OP. Read better.

Good for you.

In case people don't know, you excused yourself out of a 6-hour debating phase a couple of days ago when I was fully sure of Internet access and everything else. You made a deal with me and broke it straight away.

No worries, if I get back for real, I'll handle you once and for all.

We have been over this. I got called to do work. I was fully prepared to debate today, but you couldn't because of school. Both fair excuses.
But if you think that somehow adults aren't allowed to reschedule without one posturing and pretending he scared the other off, think again.
I have read your debates, and most of your arguments. I look forward to debating you.
Try and stay civil until then. I still have no reason to dislike you. Youth explains many faults, and I am sure age will mellow you out some.

That wasn't the plan.

Never said that. Internet access and vacation is school? Alright.

No, your excuse is dumb.

Your age obviously didn't bring the best out of you. Nonetheless, have fun discussing in these threads - I'm bored of them. I'll inform you if I continue being on the site after vacation and other things. If I do, I should make sure to have proper defense against your arguments, correct sir?

Why are you blaming this on Islam itself? Of all the religions, Islam is suffering the most from false teachers and prophets. Just because some Muslim does some crazy thing does not mean it was the true intent of Islam. Example: Osama Bin Laden. It is sad that the Middle East today is so full of people who misinterpret Islam, then giving it a bad reputation.

I'm in Bosnia now. Christians demolished countless mosques and ancient books all describing the history of Bosnia and whatnot. I don't blame Christianity or Christians, but the particular people who did it. Despite all this, I'd never blame all the ethnically different people in my country for atrocities that some of them did.

Thank you! My point exactly!

Actually, this isn't true. When the Muslims ruled Egypt before, they tried to destroy the pyramids but didn't have the technology to do so and they settled with breaking the nose off the statue of the Great Sphinx.

The Holy Quran - 49:6 O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done.

This opinion on destruction of pyramids was posted from a twitter account with the name of Sheikh Abd Al-Latif Al-Mahmoud. It was reported by one Egyptian newspaper from where it was concocted into a vicious story by frontpagemag. This was further picked up by other Islamophobe websites.

In the meantime Sheikh Abd Al-Latif Al-Mahmoud has denied that the twitter account belongs to him. This has not been reported any western newspaper.

Islam was in Egypt since 7th century. The nose of sphinx was destroyed in 18th century. Further as per the article you posted the person responsible for the act was hanged for vandalism.

There is no mention of lack of technology. You made that up.

the wikipedia suggested that in the early 18th century (before Napolean) it was already sketched as being w/o a nose.. So it Wasn't Napolean.

The wikipedia suggested it was Before the 18th century... Didn't say exactly when.

Overall it seemed to suggest that the 15th century historian was the most legitimate explanation.

plus.. If it happened in the 18th century.. why would some historian in the 15th century explain how the sphinx lost his nose??? o.O

The 15th century Arab historian who explained that it was an outraged, pious, muslim who had it taken off.
