You forgot about struggling to delude yourself into thinking that your life is the hardest thing ever as most teens do.

You forgot the part about growing up and realizing the stuff you thought mattered when you were a teen was trivial heh

unless you're a teenage crack or heroin addict, then it gets tricky

I found the lack of freedom to be the worst part.

I got the hell outta dodge when I turned 18. Of course, the amount of freedom you have depends on who your parents are, what class you are, where you live, whether you have a mental illness, blah, blah, blah. I deem the years between 18 and 23 to be the unofficial best! Will update frequently....

Eh not really. Despite being expected to act like an adult you're treated like a child, you have very little economic freedom or freedom in general, your brain is not yet fully developed and you're going through hormonal changes as well as life transitions (eg. graduating high school and being thrust into the real world).

I wouldn't say being a teen is the hardest thing in the world but it's not cake either.

I was just at the post that you got these from. I inserted a comment about how these things made me a misanthrope, leading to a happy and fun life of beating children.
