If could see one city host the Olympics which one would it be?

I think it would be interesting to have New Orleans, Dubai, or Cairo host the Olympics.

A New Orleans Olympic games would be interesting because, well, New Orleans is just a beautiful city with a rich culture. Their infrastructure would have to be worked on a bit (a bigger airport and new public transport), but if they started working now, I think they could be just as qualified as any other American city by the 2030s or 2040s. The only problem would be that the Summer Olympics falls right in the middle of hurricane season, and that is probably the one reason why New Orleans will NEVER host the Olympics, but I wish they could.

Dubai would be interesting too. Since around 2000, Dubai has been undergoing a massive modernization project. They have build artificial islands and super tall skyscrapers. They could easily handle the Olympic games. If they started preparing now, they could be a Candidate City by at least 2020. Having the Olympics is a predominantly Islamic country would be good, I think, for international cooperation. But, because of its geographic location, it might be a big target for terrorists.

Cairo would be cool! They have most of the infrastructure already there. When we think of Egypt we think of sand, pyramids, and pharaohs. If Cairo got it, they could really blow the socks-of-the-world when it comes to their modernization. And i think it would usher in a new era for Northern Africa.

There are a few cities I like. Indianapolis, Chicago, and Boston. For international cities, i'm really looking forward to London!
