I do think that all of the criticism he got was unfair; in reality, we don't know if the same thing would have happened had Robertson stayed in. So, I guess that at least this taught Giarardi a lesson about management and gut hunch and trust in addition to what's just on paper. You can't blame the guy though for just trying to do the right thing. But yeah, it was dumb. It's easy to say that in hindsight :) |
