| About Me: | I ran off to UT in '98. I became a Communication Studies student and loved it. I joined the UT speech team as soon as I got there and traveled and competed on the weekends. I then joined up with a small student-run debate team called "Texas Public Debate." We weren't in any way funded by UT and were a small student-run team. We had a blast competing all over the country, although mostly in Texas. Met some lifetime friends and got real pleasure out of competing every weekend. After a couple of years in undergrad, I decided to go to law school. I joined up with Beta Alpha Rho, a pre-law society. I competed in mock trial competitions and and even ran one one semester. I held various officer positions and became President in my last semester at UT, which was May 2002. I'm now working at a civil litigation boutique firm downtown reviewing documents in a case that excites me and makes me look forward to Mondays. It sounds crazy, but no one has ever accused me of being run-of-the-mil |
