| Beliefs: | i think that government is corrupt when it intervenes too much. and when it comes to the economy, the government should definitely stay out of it. the more bush bails out companies that fail to do what's necessary, the more the people pay for it. those who cheat and make stupid decisions should have to deal with the consequences and solve the problem on their own. |
The past decade is the worst case of human rights being threatened in the past century of the US.

It seems that George Bush, either in his ignorance, or in a underlying hatred, has endangered the rights of every human being in the US. His various acts and policies he has introduced and enforced have all lead up to jeopardizing the societies that we are all used to. The Patriot Act is the key example. Not only that, but the lack of enforcement/corruption in the various policies that are already in place have left detrimental effects on the people of the US. This is not only G.W.B....
Liberals are generally more pessimistic about success than conservatives or libertarians.

In this debate I am claiming that liberals generally have a very dim view of people's ability to succeed in life. They are constantly pointing to how the U.S. (which most consider the land of opportunity) is not accommodating to those who work hard to get ahead.
