Does Israel torture Palestinians?

LaL36

I've done this debate twice already but I haven't had a good debate in a while and I'm looking forward to one. I'd like to thank my opponent in advance and wish him luck. Israel is the only country in the world whose judiciary has squarely faced the difficult issue of whether it is ever justified to engage in even a modified form of nonlethal torture unlike the current methods being used by the United States on captured al-Qaeda prisoners in order to obtain information deemed necessary to pre...

Bullying is Worse Among Teens

TheBlueTurtle

My stance is that teens are not any more likely to be bullies than adults. I do not see a study which has proven this to be true empirically, therefore I believe in the innocent until proven guilty approach and will assume that they are innocent....

Is Cohabitation prior to marriage right?

debatercltnc

Cohabitation prior to marriage is wrong. It hinders the commitment of both parties to ready themselves for marriage. In a nationwide survey conducted in 2001 by the National Marriage Project, then at Rutgers and now at the University of Virginia, nearly half of 20-somethings agreed with the statement, "You would only marry someone if he or she agreed to live together with you first, so that you could find out whether you really get along." About two-thirds said they believed that moving in to...
