  • Champagne wine production shuld not be reserved solely to the French region of Champagne.

Today, Champagne is synonymous with all kinds of sparkling wine. Most people do not know that it comes from a certain region of France. It has become a vocabulary word of the English language, not just a brand name of a certain company. The French can't own a word of our language.

  • Champagne can be made anywhere

Should hamburgers only be made in Hamburg? Champagne received its name from a region in France, but individual makers from around the world should be able to product high quality products no matter where they are. A region cannot claim the ability to product an item over all other regions.
