"Clean coal": Is the production of hydrogen fuel from coal promising?

  • Any Technology That Reduces Carbon Emissions Should Move Forward

The only problem with the coal industry is that mining destroys the health of workers and kills people due to lax standards within the industry. Producing hydrogen from "clean coal" will certainly help reduce carbon emissions, but why not produce hydrogen from the most abundant source of hydrogen on this planet? Getting hydrogen from water should be a worthy goal for energy production in the future.

  • No coal mining

Coal is not clean burning, and our world is better off without it. Other tecnologys are cleaner and these deserve a chance before coal, coal is on its way out because it is not clean, give it up, no more coal mining for this world, wake up people, no more destruction.

  • It is not promising.

While the thought of cleaner burning coal does indeed seem promising, but in all actuality it is not. The production of "Clean coal" energy still relies on a finite resource; coal. Our continuing use of coal has grown exponentially as time has passed, and introducing a new way to utilize coal will in no way alleviate our already heavy dependence on coal.
