    Yes, Snowdens revelations reveals that the government views the people as the enemy, because the leaks reveal just how distrusting the United States government is of its own people. Snowden also revealed that those who work for the government have no respect for citizens who want to live free from unreasonable government intrusion.

    Government agencies believe falsely that they are not accountable to the people if they are acting in the best interests of the people. Unfortunately, the scandal revealed from Snowden's release of documents proves our government untrustworthy and now it would do anything to try and stop the people from realizing the truth of its corruption. The government does see the people as the enemy of it's function and ability to do whatever it wants to. Of course it is groups of people with ideas about the direction they believe the government should take toward fascism.
