Today, there is just as much chaos in Iraq as there always has been. The war got rid of Saddam Hussein, but it did not bring stability to the region. In fact, there is more terrorism and more terrorist organizations in Iraq now than there were before the invasion in 2003.
Overthrowing Saddam Hussein was not our problem. He didn't have weapons of mass destruction, nor did he pose an immediate threat to the United States. There was no need to invade Iraq, except George W. Bush decided he wanted to finish what his father started in 1991. The Iraq War wasn't worth it because thousands of civilians died and a few thousand U.S. troops were killed as well.
