  • A fetus is not a person!

99% of all abortions occur in the first trimester, when fetuses have no brain function at all. This issue ironically mirrors that of unplugging brain dead humans. Besides, this is a country where 1 in 5 children live in poverty. We need more birth control not less. Women's bodies. Women's choice.

  • It's Mercy Killing.

Sometimes the parents might not have the money or time needed to take care of a child, and an abortion is the way to keep the child from growing up in poor conditions. It would also take a toll on the parents as they need to do things and aren't ready for a child yet. Also, if you think about it there are many people in the world and we're rapidly growing. Abortions sort of help keep the numbers down a tad bit. This is also for single mothers that can't take care of a child by herself. Would you rather a child and have both of you live miserable, or kill it and live a good life and have a good husband to have another child with. Dilara, although it's not the wrong, sometimes it's needed for the better.

  • Not wrong !

If you knew how the baby was made, what if she's under age or don't have the ability to acre for the child and what if she was raped, would you want to have that memory inbeded with in the child, that the dad was the worst scum on earth?

  • Adoption doesn't cut it.

Adoption IS an option, but to consider the facts; that it's only ever made possible after what must be interpreted as 9 excruciating months of rape-caused pregnancy, the shame and humiliation of not only not knowing the father, but knowing that the father is filth, and the trauma of having to give away said child, is to consider reality.
    And reality is pro-choice.

  • A victim of rape should never be punished for it.

Rape-adoption is an option, yes, but the difficulties of going through pregnancy, the pain and humiliation of knowing that the pregnancy was caused by a rapist, and the crushing shame of giving said child away, should be enough reasons for anyone to support abortion as a constructive, helpful, societal tool.

  • Infanticide is not a right.

Infanticide, whether it occur within or without the womb, remains infanticide. The notion of any woman wanting to destroy a life growing within her is unnatural and dehumanizing. Those who dehumanize the unborn in order to promote their deaths are a,special brand of evil. These helpless victims cry to heaven for God's vengeance. Everyone involved in this barbarism will answer for it. Everyone is a theist after death.

  • Wrong but necessary

Most women regret aborting babies, but they are left with little or no options. Young women need education, support and access to birth control to avoid unwanted pregnancies. As long as there is unwanted pregnancies there will be a need for abortions. As long as the need exists women will find a way legal or illegal. So ask yourself this do you want to put people in jail or help eliminate abortions.

  • It is wrong

Denying a human their right to at least have a chance in life is wrong. Their right to live overrides ones right to bodily autonomy. It has been proven that embryos and fetuses are human and alive. So aboriton kills a human life. How is killing a human life not wrong? http://www.babycenter.com/pregnancy-week-by-week

  • 100% wrong !

When you have an abortion, you have to take away the fetus' humanity in order to justify taking away their life. Saying "a fetus is not human" is one of those examples. Abortion is no different from slavery. Want a comparison? Slave owners called blacks "animals" "subhumans" "not human at all" "parasites" in order to justify enslaving them. Pro-abortionists call fetuses "a cluster of cells" "parasites" "only a potential human" in order to justify killing them. Very similar isn't it? Life begins at CONCEPTION- not when a brain, heart or lungs have developed, not at birth. All life is sacred and deserves to be protected. A fetus deserves just as much rights as the mother. Both lives are equally important. You have an abortion, you're saying that your life matters more than an innocent child's.

  • I do not agree with abortion

If you are not financially stable to have a child then you shouldn't have sex. Also if you are raped, even though its hard and you're dealing with PTSD, the child shouldn't be punished and murdered . Adoption in rape cases is always and option. If the pregnancy is going to put both the child and the mothers life in danger, than that is one exception that i will agree with getting an abortion. Other than that then no abortion is wrong.

  • Immoral but not Illegal

I am strongly against abortion from an ethical standpoint, except in cases of sexual assault, but not from a legal standpoint. The US Supreme Court ruled in favor of legal abortions, deciding in turn that fetuses are not given constitutional rights. Therefore, states should discontinue efforts to make abortions hard to access.

  • I'm split on this but ultimately it's no.

You have to remember that this is a human life we're talking about. Lot's of times children come about in relationships unexpectedly and adjustments need to be made, but ending a life doesn't have to be one.
You could raise the child as much as possible and then give it up for adoption.
Chance of life > No life.
