The attacks from terrorism has reached a fevered pitch, which is causing everyone to be on edge and overreact. The poor man that was mistaken for a terrorist, collapsed after being accosted by the police. He was actually here from overseas for medical reasons. It's sad that the persecution falls on the innocent and we always seem to miss the guilty.
Police and others are being reactionary towards all Muslim people. This problem is becoming epidemic. It is bad enough when a single person is discriminated against because of their religion, especially in a country that believes in freedom of religion, but it is even worse when many people are discriminated against.
Although it's a tough call, Muslim people shouldn't be subject to less-than adequate treatment because no one should. Things get tough because in their holy book, the Quran, death is mentioned a lot, relatively speaking. Although most Muslim do not practice the killing of others in the name of their faith, it's a part of the faith that still should not be ignored.
An Ohio mayor apologizing on Sunday after a visitor from the Middle East was accused of being a terrorist and handcuffed by police at gunpoint, should not be viewed as prejudice against Muslims. The increasing uncertainty of imminent terror threats by radicalized Muslims world over has alerted everyone to further possible attacks. It is indeed a difficult situation for the vast majority of Muslim people who are not radicalized, however they also need to understand that since most of the terror attacks world over, have in the recent years been carried out by some radicalized Muslim people who had no prior criminal background, hence the increasing climate of uncertainty prevails, since no person would like to be killed or lose their families in any such terror threats.
