Apprentices get paid during the education period, should students too?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • An Apprenticeship and being a student are not the same thing.

While it's true that in being an apprentice or a student you are learning, this is where most of the similarities end. An apprentice provides a service through work to a company while a student provides no service to a college. You get paid for what you earn rather than what you think you deserve. This is why college students get jobs to pay for tuition because they get paid for providing a service to a company.
