A growing number of young people are feeling the burden of anti-American sentiments expressed through media outlets, such as international new broadcasts. America is being criticized now more than ever before for it's wars and foreign policies in the Middle East. A lot of foreign people are expressing ant-American sentiment through media outlets and young Americans are feeling the burden of this type of sentiment.
For proof of anything on the internet, someone just needs google and maybe five minutes to find someone else that shares your view and offers support for your belief system. You can still believe the world is flat and someone will want to agree with you on the internet. If you want to hate a country that is overweight because we eat too much, there's an app for that.
I don't think they are feeling a burden but just knowing what has been out there all along. The international news outlets have a greater reach due to technology these days. Also gone are the days where the USA could hide info and spread propaganda (Example: Red Scare) so the truth is now out there as seen by people like Snowden. The blame lies with the people running the USA and not the international news outlets.
I don't think that there is enough of a pervasive anti american element to the American media at the moment. Even if there was I believe that news outlets like Fox News throw enough propaganda out there to alleviate any concerns for the welfare of America in the face of antagonism.
I do not believe that more and more young people are feeling the burden of anti-American sentiments expressed through media outlets, such as international news broadcasts. I think a lot of people don't really care about them. A lot of young people do not even really pay attention to the news.
