Are bananas in any true danger of becoming extint?

Yes. This is a very intense argument. Bananas are very high in potassium and are beneficial to human life. Too many primates are eating bananas and lowering the amount of potassium humans receive. If bananas go extinct, then humans will be so low on potassium, they will die. If the human race becomes extinct, that would be bad. As you can see, the only possible solution is to give monkeys and primates a more balanced diet, without too much bananas. Bananas will be dessert, a treat if they do something good, so that bananas don't become extinct and humans don't die.

  • But of course

All banana plants are genetically identical to one another because farmers get more plants by cutting off a piece of a mother plant and shoving it in the ground and expecting it to bear fruit, which it does. If a Banana disease or something goes around such as with the great potato famine in Ireland, we can say bye-bye to bananas.

  • They are going

To become extint beacause monkeys are eating them all, they are not leaving bananas for us.

  • Depending on country....

I live in Australia and bananas are grown in Queensland. People get a living by selling bananas and as Queensland is one of Australia's most visited places, obviously people want to taste a banana favourite. There isn't a bug festation and no deseases are into the bananas so I believe it will be good, stay good and taste good.

  • From my knowledge, bananas are not in any true danger of becoming extint. Here's Why:

There are more than 1,000 varieties of bananas, and we mainly eat the Cavendish. It hasn't always been that way. Yes, species of bananas have been killed off due to fungus as such but as a whole, NO they are not in any true danger of extinction. As far as potassium goes, Avocados, White Beans, and even Kiwi has more then potassium then a banana.

  • Absolutely ridiculous notion

Why would bananas be in any true danger of being extinct? They grow in many places which are not in danger, and are looked after by farmers; thousands are sold every day and so far there has been no problem. It is illogical to presume such an impossible thing (as of now)!
