  • Love the Guns

    Gun Violence
Everyone goes on with their normal lives
    While there are kids outside
    Shooting guns for first time
You can’t walk around for even a second
Without seeing a school shooting coming up in your mentions
    Everyone has one
    Your next-door neighbour has one
    Your Step brother has one
    Your Grandma probably has one
There so easy to get, yet so hard to escape
No one realizes the problem comes form the top
People talk about change, but nothing happens like paint drying in the rain.
    Bullets piercing people’s brains
People say guns are used for protection
But who are you protecting when your shooting someone Mother
    People say

  • I believe they are but even if they are not, we cant stop deaths by guns from happening

This is affecting the united states because we will be going directly what we were founded on and overall violent crime rates will rise and mass shooting rates themselves will go down will go down. The USA has many Countries around us that can’t control their citizens for anything. So summigling will play a big role in with guns in America. Just look at Australia, do they have drug ring/ruled countries around then? No,No they don’t! The main reason The USA is different from all the other Countries that emplaced gun laws, is that we are founded on the idea of preventing a tyrannical Government and if we register our weapons so the government can track them it completely defeated the purpose of having the second amendment, which is there for a reason that we are all aware of. And If you do a buy back you will be changing the laws on guns making a good 1-30% of the american citizens, criminals, many, like me would fight back and there would be a start of a new civil war. So the government would be fighting anywhere between 3.22 million and 96.6 million, both of which would be the biggest army in the world, china coming in second with 2.183 million. Most Police would not go door to door and take weapons, they would be fighting the government instead because at least 65% of Police believe the second amendment is a good thing and carry guns everywhere. And most of the Military personnel would be fighting the Government because they believe in guns to. The government would have to create a whole new army, train them and everything. And if they use the military technology to kill (first of all no one would be there to operate it) But if they do the government would cause a new holocaust, remember 3.22 million to 96.6 million people that have guns to protect themselves. Taking them would do so much more harm than good. So if you want to save lives in the future, we will keep guns....

  • The right to bare arms

You have the right to protect yourself with a firearm. And if guns are taken away, criminals will be able to get their hands on them. So then what are you going to do? You have a gun pointed to your head. No way to defend yourself. You just sit there and plead mercy. All Guns aren't designed to kill, That is just what they are used for in some cases. And yes children do sometimes die from a gun but that is because there parents are the ones who made the mistake of keeping the gun in an unsafe place. Guns don't kill they are a tool to kill, a gun doesnt get up one morning ad say "im going to cause a mass murder today.'' Someone has to pic up a gun aim and pull the trigger for it to kill. So yes the person behind the gun is the killer.

Im sorry if this opinion is all over the place but thank you for reading

  • The thin line between government tyranny and freedom is in the 2nd amendment.

Once the liberals overturn the 2nd amendment then they will really begin to take other freedoms away like private land ownership. The takeover of healthcare was another way to control people. Anything the government gives they will use to control you by threatening to take it away. The constitution is the greatest document ever.

  • Maybe we have outgrown them

Have we outgrown the need for guns as a country? We have evolved as a race and advanced so much scene the second amendment was created. Certainly now we are much smarter than our founding fathers and know what is best. They wanted everyone to have guns in case your government becomes oppressive and unfit to govern you anymore. But this is 2017 its not like that would happen now. When our founding fathers made our constitution they thought ahead to the future and had direct reasons based on the times and experiences for each amendment or law they made. People were extremely smart back then, more than we give them credit for. There was an flippant written during the evolution called common sense, it illustrated to the common american the scale of the revolution, what we were fighting for and was a big motivator for the revolution. If anyone out there has ever read this article you might think it is a bit difficult to comprehend what with the complex writing and all. I agree with you it is hard to understand. Here is the kicker a reason that Pamphlet was so significant back then was because it was specifically written for the common man with an eighth grade education to understand... So I do not know I guess we are getting smarter and know what is best, maybe we should get rid of guns We probably do not need them anymore.

  • We have the right to protect ourselves

When people do crimes they don't think about other people and their families so,we have the right to protect ourselves and our families from terrible danger. When people ban guns they only increase crime rate not decrease it.Cause then people who do crimes can just think as though nobody has protection

  • We need to be able to defend ourselves and the ones we love

The majority of people in the world. We should have the right to protect ourselves in any situation that we find ourselves in. Obviously, there are different meanings and opinions for the word, "good" but, we are just going to accept that. In addition, i think for what is MORALLY RIGHT guns should be considered good. But then there is a society, in which we should live in, where guns should not be needed at all.

  • Depends on your own definition of what good is.

When I think of something good its usually associated with something positive or constructive like helping others for no selfish reason other than to enrich other peoples lives that's my definition, however, when it comes to guns I have to vehemently disagree and here's why. First off the purpose of a gun, that is the intention behind the development of a gun is to maim, injure, or kill any living and breathing thing. A gun at its very essence is a destructive tool designed ultimately for the taking of life THAT IS A FACT. Sure you can threaten someone with a gun and never have to use it, but still you are instilling fear to manipulate the situation to your will. Whenever there's a gun involve in any situation, its almost never positive or constructive instead there will be destruction, pain, fear, and death as a direct outcome from it. So no, in the overall scheme of things I think guns are not good for anything other than its intended purpose of taking life.

  • Handguns are ok, but a huge shotgun is unnecessary.

Self defence or protecting your family is fine and understandable. If you want to protect your family then use a small handgun and not a huge rifle and shotguns. The UK has had a gun ban for years and this has resulted in a large decrease of gun crime and yet in America there are many stories of shootings. It's best to either limit gun use of ban it.

  • No, guns for regular people serve little purpose.

We have many guns in this country in the hands of criminals and even regular citizens. Obviously, nothing good is happening, and we have one of the highest rates of deaths and injuries with guns of any civilized country. So except in military situations, it would seem that the use of guns is only causing a violent society.
