I believe so but for different reason that some may believe. A side effect of energy use is heat production. When you vehicle engine runs it creates heat and is dispelled through the exhaust or radiator. The heat loss is significant because it is wasted energy. The energy wasted from all forms of energy being produced and used could be causing a slight temperature increase. Also air conditioning can lead to temperature increase because you are moving heat from inside buildings in the hottest parts of Earth to the outside and with more square footage of air conditioned structures now than ever before the heat is condensed into a smaller area. If 2% of earths land is covered by air conditioned buildings then it would make sense to see a small rise in temperature. So yes we are but not because of carbon bit because there are a lot of people on earth and we live a far more comfortable lifestyle than ever before. There are a lot of cars and they give off a lot of heat and so does producing electricity and then burning the electricity. Carbon is being released as a result of burning all of this energy because the carbon was stored in the earth as coal, oil, or trees and we are using it at a fast rate but carbon doesn't cause global warming and us humans aren't causing it either. We are simply generating more heat than the earth can get rid of. As we transfer to more efficient sources if electricity and power lines and we use geo thermal methods of cooling and heating then we will have a stabilization of temperature. Feel the back of your LCD TV a days then feel the back of a newer led tv. The newer led is cooler because it uses less energy. This is minute but when there are 2 billion tvs on earth and billions of cars and lots of more space being climate controlled then it all adds up to 1 percent in reason in temperature.
One sided development without caring of the environment has been responsible for global warming, in the last 100 years the human influence has been detected in warming of the atmosphere and the ocean, in changes in the global water cycle, in reductions in snow and ice, in global mean sea level rise, and in changes in some climate extremes. It is extremely likely (95-100%) that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century.
O blame humans or not to blame humans for global warming, that is the question. Global warming is an increase in temperature world wide. Report has noted, 11 out of the last 12 years have ranked among the warmest on record. CNN has stated that temperature changes have been notice over the last 50 years, due to human activities. 90-99% of daily human activities cause global warming. With this factor scientists have predicted the temperature will increase 3.2 to 7.1 degrees Fahrenheit. Yes humans are to blame for global warming because of population growth, deforestation, and the use of non-environmentally safe products. This world wide issue must be addressed to everyone!
First, the increase in population has had a major affect on Global warming. With more population comes the use of more cars, boats, planes, etc. These powered vehicles cause more C02to enter the air. Everyone is acknowledging that we need to make a change in our way of living. More cars and more planes are pouring enormous amounts of C02 into the atmosphere. “Most global increases rare due to increases in carbon dioxide from fossil fuels,” says CNN. This is true; did you know that aviation causes 3.5% of global warming? This seems like a little amount but, if you think of all the times planes depart and land per day it really adds up. Then, when there is traffic people’s car engines could be burning fuel for at least over an hour. They can use up to600 million gallons of gas, while just sitting in traffic. This is very common in many cities, world wide. I found that the amount of fossil fuels that are burned during traffic translates to 7.5 million tons of carbon dioxide. Vehicles with poor gas mileage contribute even more than regular cars do. Imagine all the transportation that occurs throughout the day keeps increasing as the population does. There will be so much carbon dioxide emissions that temperatures will increase by many degrees. We need to minimize our use of these items in order for our economy to avoid suffering. If we don’t change our actions it could change our lives forever!
Humans are responsible for global warming. The climate change, which has occurred for several years and is increasingly covered by the media, is impacting humanity and creatures all over the globe. Humans are responsible due to pollution of the air with industrial and modern living. Humans are also the solution, should they choose to participate in creating less waste.
There are always going to be global weather trends that take place over thousands and thousands of years. However, when the global weather changes so quickly due to green house gases and other factors, it is obvious that it is coming from humans. We need to try to change our behavior.
Yes, human beings are definitely responsible for global warming. It is clear that the earth is getting hotter and a vast majority of scientists and experts who study weather phenomena are in agreement that it is in fact human being who are causing the warming to happen. I believe the scientists over the businessmen who try to convince people it's fake so they don't lose money.
Humans are responsible for global warming. It is proven that without the human influence then we would not have global warming issues. Everyday we release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and these gases affect the global warming. The biggest thing about global warming is the cars and trucks on our highways.
I believe that humans are without a doubt responsible for
global warming. Look at the stats and
years for global warming. Notice how
global warming wasn’t even an issue before the industrial revolution. Global warming has been caused by the effects
of the technology of human beings on the planet’s environment
The case for attributing the recent global warming to human activities rests on
the following undisputed scientific facts:
• Carbon dioxide (CO2
) is a greenhouse gas that warms the atmosphere.
• Since pre-industrial times, atmospheric CO2
concentrations have increased from about 280 parts
per million (ppm) to over 380 ppm. Current concentrations of CO2
and other greenhouse gases
are unprecedented in at least the last 650,000 years, based on records from gas bubbles trapped in
• Independent measurements demonstrate that the increased CO2
in the atmosphere comes from
burning fossil fuels and forests. The isotopic composition of carbon from these sources contains a
• Since pre-industrial times, global average temperatures have increased by about 0.7ºC, with about
half of the warming occurring over the past few decades.
• The only quantitative and internally consistent explanation for the recent global warming includes
the intensified greenhouse effect caused by the increase in CO2
and other greenhouse gases.
Us humans are not the cause just because we have our use of carbon. Also are we really worried about so much for nothing? We are spending billions of dollars on nothing. I say just keep to your life and don’t worry about the world. If the world boils up tomorrow and we all die then there is something to be worried about!
There is no conclusive evidence that humans are responsible for global warming. The Earth undergoes natural climate change without any human intervention. It is not clear what the cause of the current climage change is. Humans should not radically chagne their lifestyle until is have been proven that our activities are the cause of global warming.
