Are humans the only intelligent life forms in the universe?

  • Aliens do exist

Ufos have been spotted in many parts of the world. Many alien dead bodies have been found. Even a few weeks ago, a baby was born in Krishnanagar, India. What else can this be? It is a hybrid. And how could it be born without the existence of alien life?

  • With human intelligence it is likely

The human race is constructed mentally and physically to survive on earth, we are very limited as to what we can achieve. There will be entities that we could never understand, how would one describe a being without our five senses? Humanlike is an evolutionary blip, there will not be anything like us, no,.We would most likely not even recognise true intelligence.

  • Fermi's Paradox says that we are alone

Either we are alone in the universe or intelligent life is relatively common. If intelligent life has happened more than once, then, considering the fast number of planets in our galaxy (let alone the visible universe) it almost certainly is the case that intelligent life has arisen many times. If we set evidence that intelligent life evolved distinctly in two separate situations, then it is almost guaranteed that life evolved more frequently than that. However, if intelligent life evolved as frequently in our vast universe as some scientists speculate it did, than we should she numerous radio signals from these intelligent civilizations. However, so far, the night sky is completely silent in that regard (Fermi's paradox).
Therefore, this leads to the inevitable conclusion that we are the only intelligent life forms in the galaxy and perhaps in the entire visible universe.

  • Yes maybe though .........

It could be that intelligent life is a "Rare" thing in the for all the galaxies that exist today. I mean think about it we and our lesser evolved kin that made us to our modern human have only been around on this earth for the last two million years ( as far as I know....Not a expert) and we are still just in the basics of space travel . Not to mention our universe is enormous to begin with. So there maybe a few species that have made contact with each other in different galaxies. This is only speculation of course but who know we may be one of the rare few intelligent species in the Milky Way

  • Alien tech we use

Before world war 2 the Germans discovered a crashed alien ship this also explains why the usa has advanced there jet technology so quickly after world war 2. The ufo sightings are top secret experiment aircraft especially here in the usa and in the area around the real area 51 which has labs that are dissecting alien bodys

  • We should see galactic-scale engineering if there were others.

Life may be quite common, but in order for there be intelligence life there needs to be the trifecta of: (1) abiogenesis, (2) an equivalent of the Cambrian explosion, and (3) environmental factors that tease intelligence out of the resulting creatures as happened here with bipedal primates in the past few million years. Unless intelligent creatures exist in an environment that prevents them from pushing forward with technology to outrun their long term extinction (such as trapped beneath the oceans of Europa and remaining hunter-gathers forever), they should go from fire-utilization to nanotechnology within several million years. Once they transition to AI, the assimilation of essentially the entire universe could commence. The insistence that intelligent life like humans frequently goes extinct seems a bit forced as populations could recover from nuclear or biological war in a matter of centuries or millennia and space-based extinction events are rare. Should the AI that we will transition to want to expand its reach (and choosing not to do so would in the long term be suicidal), entire galaxies could be converted to Dyson spheres, matrioshka and Jupiter brains. We don't see that yet, suggesting that we are indeed alone, at least with our hubble volume if not the observable universe, possibly the entire universe, or at the extreme, the multiverse.

  • Universe is too big!

There are more than billions galaxies in our universe plus ,there are more than 100 billions stars in a galaxy, imagine that you think we"re only one here in this huge universe, Frankly i think we are not only alone but together with aliens in fact the aliens may be already with us and chatting to us like normally. Think About It

  • Indubitably we are.

Given the age of Planet Earth according to those who reject the biblical account of creation, how likely is it that intelligent life forms from other planets would have overlooked our planet which thrives with all kinds of life forms? Surely they would have discovered it by now (unless they are not really "intelligent" life forms).

  • I believe so.

The universe is infinite. We have discovered the Solar System and have learned fascinating things that were simply impossible, but turned out to be possible. We have explored the Solar System, let alone the Milky Way galaxy. We have learned so much but there is still so much undiscovered, unexplored places in the universe that are unthinkable today. We are learning every single day, we learned that there are gravitational waves and that there was evidence of water on Mars! MARS! This was unthinkable in the past, but look where we are now. We need to remain open to continuous learning and should not rule out that we, 7 billion people, are the only intelligent life forms in the entire universe which is infinite, endless and with endless possibilities. Possibilities including intelligent life forms.

  • We are not alone

I have to agree with the others because it depends on how we define extraterrestrial life, do they have to be smart? How smart? Do we even know what being smart is? Do they have to have a visible form? What kind of form does it have to look like? Should it be able to communicate? All these things and more have to be considered when looking and proving that extraterrestrials exists, and if we cant figure it out yet then we have yet to decide whether other life forms exist, I take this into account as I say I think that there are others out there

  • Why should we humans be the only intelligent life.

We see lots of sightings of ufo's. Lets face it, they are only sightings and no wonder we don't meet them. For us to see ufo's they must be much more superior and come from god knows how many light years away.Would anybody like to go back to living in caves? That would look like aliens looking at our race. They will never stop here.

  • The universe is huge

There are 200 billion stars in the Milky Way and 90% are small enough and old enough to have planets in orbit. And only 10% of these stars were formed with enough heavy elements to have Earth-like planets with 2% of these --or 100 million super-Earths and Earths-- will orbit within their star's habitable zone.

  • The universe. Life and death.

There is no BEGINING or end to this universe. Like day and night and again day. Some people say universe started some chores of years back. If it is so. There should be some one who started the universe then where he was living for planning and creating the universe. Big Bang(a nonsense). The infinite universe is there and it will be there. It has no BEGINING or end.

  • No we are not the only ones out there

If the universe is massive and endless as the human race can see then we cant be the only ones what would be the point maybe thats just how it is maybe there are aliens that are religious with their own alien gods. Who can say that they arent like us and maybe they think we are aliens and they don't believe in us maybe they could have advanced technology that have led them to have a base on our solar system maybe they live on a different solar system and have used their technology to travel to ours and spy on us gather information. Watching sci-fi movies gives me a lot of theories i believe we arent all thats left maybe there (was) life and they became extinct we just need improved technology to travel further what if there are other universes and the other life forms live there. They could be wondering hey maybe there are aliens out there who have UFO's if we go in the right directions maybe there is another alien life out there thinking maybe us humans exist. And that is why i think No we are not the only ones out there and im 11 years old
