Limits to growth are not the only way to protect nature. Like many large problems this society faces, there is more than one way to control it, or even solve it. Strict conseration programs, like recycling or tree-planting, go a long way to protecting the environment and therefore making the world we live in a better place.
Although limiting society's growth is one good way to protect nature, it is not the only way. Programs can be put in place that emphasize the value of natural existence. Protecting the rainforests is one way that this can be accomplished. Instead of using the rainforests for wood, tree farms can be made to provide that wood instead, and save the rainforest.
