    Newspapers are dying and they are definitely not the voice of the people. If newspapers were ever the voice of the people, I would have to say it has not been that way for quite some time. Regardless, newspapers are having a difficult time staying afloat due to the competition from the internet, where news stories are much easier and convienent to access.

    Although of some significance to those without Internet access, the voice of the people has shifted mostly to the Internet. It is here where people where people voice their concerns regarding their communities and indeed the world through social media, blogging, forums, etc. And in the process exchanging links and finding a common voice that way.
