Are political parties to blame for the U.S.'s major issues?

Asked by: raptor356934
  • Political parties are considered the "meat " of the United States government because the citizens of the U.S. physically can not agree with each other.

Political parties, in modern times, comprise the inner workings in the government. Since each party takes a side on a controversial topic, people - wanting to feel part of a large movement, or wanting to feel like they are an important part of the governmental process - will join these parties, in hopes to sway the decisions' of the government.

  • The question is poorly worded.

I would go yes on this question but, the question states that the political parties themselves are causing the problems. This isn't true for a simple reason, the issues don't stem from the parties, issues like gun control, abortion, money in politics etc are national issues that both the parties gridlock on.
