  • Yes, the citizens are angry, and they're letting their politicians know.

There have been other politicians that have faced similar protests as well. There are some British politicians that have been harassed for supporting the "Brexit" vote. Boris Johnson had to leave his home under police escort due to a large crowd of angry protesters outside his residence. The citizens are angry, and they're letting their politicians know.

  • Yes, politicans are getting their comeuppance for their Brexit vote.

David Cameron, the Prime Minister of Britain, stepped down after Brexit passed, and to me that's more powerful than words. Many politicians (and citizens) who voted in support of Brexit did so extremely carelessly, and treated the issue too flippantly. Many people have come forward to say that they didn't think the vote would ACTUALLY pass, to explain why they attempted a tongue-in-cheek vote to leave. When it actually passed, a lot of them started stammering "but... but... but... I didn't think it would REALLY happen!"

It's a decision that impacts a LOT of people in very drastic ways, and politicians are absolutely getting the short end of the stick right now -- as they should. The citizens are angry, and they're letting their politicians know.

  • The media is harassing them

The media is harassing the politicians. I think the media is taking advantage of the fact that the pound has lost some value in the last few days. They are pouncing on the politicians to elicit strong emotions from the public to increase viewership. This will pass eventually, but all major changes cause ruffled feathers when media is stoking the fire.
