  • Quota is a official discrimination

If quota is not there, there is no racial discrimination. Quota itself develops both inferior/superior complexities in the minds of people. It forced the people to think that there is a difference between them and other people in either way. Therefore, it should be abolished to reduce discrimination between them.

  • No, it doesn't

Racial quotas actually give priority to other races, which is discrimination in and of itself. Also, companies should be looking for the best people available for the job, not other races, just to be fair. However, if the best person available for the job IS a racial minority, they should be hired not because they are a racial minority, but because they are the best.

  • Quotas ARE discrimination

The use of a quota system means that a casual fix is taken over a causal fix. If a company is forced to hire two men does that not discriminate against two women who may be better qualified? I worked a job once where a Native American woman was in the workforce. Some days she was counted as a woman to meet that quota, and sometimes as a Native American to meet that quota. These mathematical games do not reduce any form of discrimination. They merely prolong another form of discrimination. Only the best qualified should be hired.
