Disposable diapers are made of chemicals! They take 300 years to decompose in our landfills. Of course nothing that is manufactured is going to be beneficial for the environment however there are ways to lessen our impact on our planet. Cloth diapers are made of plant and synthetic fibers to be reused hundreds of times for multiple children. The energy used to clean the diapers is microscopic compared to the energy required to manufacture a new diaper for your child to use every 1-2 hours.
