  • Yes school tests are effective.

They are effective because they let you know how much you know. Also, the school tests help you learn more. If there wasn't the SAT how would people graduate. You could get scholarships at college if you do excellent on the SAT. I don't get why people don't think that school tests are effective.

  • Only to an extent.

Sure, it'll help students realize what they missed in the past of whatever the learned in a particular class. However, the testing only puts more pressure and stress on students. I feel as if these tests that schools do only intimidate children and gives them the idea that the school systems are out to get them.

  • Yes, they are very effective.

School tests are very effective for helping to students learn and further their education. The tests are placed so a student can look back and see what they did not get and go back to their notes and book so they can better learn it and get a new understanding.

  • Yes, they evaluate students' performance.

School testing provides students essentially with a method of benchmarking what they have learned throughout the course of the class. Although testing should not focus on the grade in particular, when used to demonstrate a student's knowledge of the subject, tests can be used to determine in which areas the student is competent, and which areas need to be focused on with further teachings.

  • They don't show anything the kids normal grades don't show

All the test does is stress kids out and force them to over think and over study for whatever the test subject is about instead of just going over the material with all the kids and making sure they all understand it before moving on to the next lesion and don't even get the right information because kids can just as easily cheat off one another as they always have.

  • No way no

    Test are not effective because children can copy of others 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 8 7 6 5 4 4 3 2 1 23 4 5 6 7 8

  • No way, no how.

The tests only scare students and stress them out. One guy I know had panic attacks every test day, every time we were pop quizzed, and every time we took exams in high school, the tests terrified him that much. He always thought it was going to fail, and that showed in his test marks - they were always low.
