Are some people who seem to have Alzheimer’s actually only depressed?

  • Some diagnosed with Alzheimer's may actually only be depressed.

Modern medicine is so geared towards pumping people with chemicals that the treatment may actually be the real disease. If Alzheimer's patients were put on a very strong, all-natural diet filled with green juices, raw/steamed veggies, some fruits, some meats, mild exercise, and good amounts of rest, it would work miracles - it does every time it's tried. This disease called depression may likely be the effects of a prolonged poor diet made worse by the side effects of chemical medical treatments. Who wouldn't be depressed?

  • Some people who seem to have Alzheimer’s are not actually only depressed.

Some people who seem to have Alzheimer’s are not actually only depressed. Alzheimer’s is a serious condition and affects millions of people every year. I am sure you would get depressed too if you could not remember something. However, just because a person is depressed does not mean that it is a sign of this illness.

  • Some people who seem to have Alzheimer’s are actually only depressed.

It is wrong to accuse people of faking Alzheimer's. It is a serious disease and people who suffer from it should be treated with respect and dignity. It is important for people to understand the disease so that it can be treated correctly. There should be more awareness about this terrible malady.

  • Very wrong point

People with Alzheimers are most definitely not only depressed, something that people would not think if they studied the disease even on the surface. Depression is a chemical problem between transmitters in the brain, whereas Alzheimers is a buildup in a number of proteins in empty spaces in the brain.

  • People who seem to have Alzheimer’s are not actually only depressed.

Alzheimer's is a serious disease and people who have it should be treated with dignity and respect. It is not right to deny that people suffering from this disease are only depressed. Until a cure is developed, we should spread awareness about this disease and try to help those who are suffering from it.
