Are Steven Seagal's movies all personal revenge movies?

Asked by: Adam2
  • Not all of them, but most of them seem to be that way

"Above the Law" wasn't personal, but it had very personal moments. The scumbag who was going out with Nico's niece -- Nico wanted to kill him. But the movie wasn't personal. "Hard to Kill," "marked for death" and "Out for justice" were extremely personal. He was extremely (not in a bad way) arrogant in "Out for justice." He had no mercy for the pool tables. I get the feeling his movies are all about revenge against other people more than action films.
