The sexual assaults that took place on New Years in Germany by Middle Eastern refugees are more widespread than previously thought. The Middle East views women differently then Western countries. Many women in the Islamic world are subject to violent attacks that do not go prosecuted. Unfortunately, some refugees have different ideas that make it seem okay for them to take advantage of women. In short, it is likely that sexual assaults like the ones in Germany are more widespread.
The US Media gave little credence to the reports from Germans of multiple assaults by men against women on New Years. While other media in Europe gave weight to the volume of the assaulted victims our US media kept mum in most outlets. Adding insult to injury in an attempt to keep those in power pacified they did more harm than good with their silence.
Yes, the assaults that took place in Germany on New Years are more widespread than previously thought. Sexual assauly of this nature is much more prevelant worldwide than reported, as there are victims that do not realize that they have the ability and the right to report such assaults. Some victims arent aware that groping and related physical violations of their bodies qualifies as sexual assault, and therefore don't report the assault. People, women and men, are becoming more confident in assserting their rights to protect their bodies, and have become vocal about assault.
No, the assaults that took place in Germany on New Years are not more widespread than previously thought, it's just the media plays up each and every little thing - especially when it comes to the migrants. If we were to report (to the general public) every single crime that ever took place there would be no room for anything else and mostly these claims are scaremongering. Crime is everywhere.
