  • Yes they are.

This is actually very true. Easy Cure won a talent competition with German label Hansa Records, and received a recording contract. They are very much talented and they show true passion and talent, not caring about being super famous and getting tons of media hype, but still making fantastic music.

  • Yes, but nothing special.

You can`t say they are not talented, but also they don't bring anything to the table that is completely unique. Their lead singers are ordinary. There are so many bands today. It was great that they played such a long concert, but that just makes them a fun and responsible band.

  • The Cure are incredibly talented

The Cure were just one of several bands in the 80s who became known for a style of music called "shoegaze" - so named for the way these musicians would stare at their shoes instead of engaging with their audiences. This was an attitude that matched the genre's often introspective lyrics. The Cure are incredibly skilled at performing and should be recognized for their influence.

  • Only a non-musician, or amateur would say Yes

The Cure are not talented. They were a case of right place, right time (the 80s). Every single song is written and executed with the most elemental and basic techniques of musicianship. None of the band members have ever done a single thing on recording that would indicate any sort of talent or special ability. Nothing technical, intricate, or difficult ever happens in any one of their existing recordings.

  • They are ordinary.

There are so many bands today. It was great that they played such a long concert, but that just makes them a fun and responsible band. It doesn't necessarily make them great. Neither does the large size of their catalog. They don't bring anything to the table that is completely unique. Their lead singers are ordinary.
