Given the amount of stars in the universe, 10^21, the odds of other life forms is extremely high.
There are more stars in the universe then there are grains of sand on every beach on earth combined...Times 10. There is almost certainly life somewhere out there; the universe is massive.
It is said (the the holy text of Islam) that "Allah is the creator of the WORLDS". I purposely put emphasis on the word WORLDS because it is plural. In terms of a religious concept of things, there should be other life forms in outer space. If you are not religious then i have another argument.
There are so many stars and galaxies in the universe, that it's not really possible that there aren't any other lifeforms out there. The question is more like how many are there? Or, how many are intelligent? It's also just incredibly self-centered to think that God (if he exists) only created humans. I don't know if any of them are exactly like humans, but there are definitely other life forms.
God is the only creator of living things! God shall smite you non believers god shall smite you non believers god shall smite you non believers god shall smite you non believers god shall smite you non believers god shall smite you non believers god shall smite you non believers god shall smite you non believers ahhhhhhhhhh
The chances are zero, 2000 years after christ we still know nothing, and only the last 100 years alot happened like airplanes, internet, robots... But still we are the same as 2000 years ago, we live in the same bodies, we eat the same food, we enjoy the same things. Our live is only 80 years, that's really nothing compare to billions of years, so why bother, science is for nerd, nothing better to do like jerking off and 123 a big bang theory. The true meaning is to enjoy your life with your loved ones, nice food and holidays and believing in God and Heaven, Love and Eternity.
While the concept of life resembling human life on other planets may be possible as far as other planets in the universe it is certainly not a possibility on the planets that we have recognized so far in our own solar system. From temperature extremes to inhospitable atmospheres the planets within our own solar system are simply not able to sustain life with the same demands as humans. Now, were these other life forms to be so drastically different from humans that they were created from some new element all together and not carbon based life forms then perhaps the question of life on other planets within our solar system can be raised again. However, until there is proof of life forms other than those based on carbon, the possibility of life on other planets will have to depend on planets outside of our own solar system.
Life as we know it in planet earth is very rare and it is the product of a fine tuned universe. The statistics involved in arriving at the design that has facilitated the evolution of life is staggering. We are meant to be here in this planet earth which is a pale blue dot and there are no other galaxy systems where the parameters would be just right for allowing life to begin. This universe is a violent place for life and it may be possible that there can be other type of life forms but they would not be as intricate and as delicate as that of ours. We are simply lucky to exists or there is a divine plan that had made all this possible. According to the chance theory this chance is extremely slim that life would be existing any where else and if we are in accord with the divine plan then also life is possible and available only in planet earth. Planet earth is in a habitable zone and Drake's famous equation boils down to one planet that can have life at any point of time in the universe.
