I do not know what the penalties might be for a small business that does not provide insurance for its employees. I am pretty sure there is a penalty for not providing insurance to employees that work full time. Part time employees do not need to be offered insurance by their employers.
A person has the right to affordable health insurance. The majority of people do get paid enough money for living expenses as well as health care expenses. There should be a penalty in place so that the small companies would be reprimanded if they do not provide adequate health insurance coverage.
