Are today's adults, adults in stature but juvenile in their actions?

  • Finally a Perfect Opinion Question

    YES. ABSOLUTELY YES.

I've found that many young people today are so obsessed with projecting the image of "self-taught, highly matured business professional" that when certain life experiences that are difficult affect them - they feel shocked at their inadequacy to handle it.

Being "professionally" centered isn't mature. Being a "cutthroat, living in a New York studio, signing petitions" isn't mature. Young adults who are incapable of accepting other beliefs without critical examination of their own biases aren't mature.

Maturity can come at any age, but if you think you ARE someone, you probably aren't. And that my friend, is called the balance of probability. :)

  • COPING WITH Immature ADULTS."

..Adults in stature but juvenile in their actions and dress , this is what we witness to so often in America today. I saw a young couple today and they both appeared to have reached the age of maturity but their dress and actions were those of juvenile as the young man, I would guess to be in his 20s had his pants down around his hips with his under ware exposed, the lady with him had a childish way of throwing herself down in the restaurant booth with total disregard for the other people in the next booth behind them.

There was a time in this country when the young children growing up anticipated what life would be like to be adults and the young wanted to emulate their adult demeanor and adult attire . But what is so often the case today is that the young people no longer wish to progress to that stage of recognition as mature adults but demonstrate their desire to forever remain in their Immature state and irresponsible juvenile behavior and dress.

  • Back in my day

It's always the new generation. Peoples flaws always look worse when everyone's eyes are on them which is often the people making the most movement, like the workhorse new generation.
    Besides.
There is a 71 year old man on twitter who sounds like the most immature adult I have ever heard.
