Are US Military service members paid too little (yes) or the right amount or too much (no)?

  • US Military service members are paid too little.

US military service members are paid far too little. The entry level wages of people who are even deployed in warzones is comparable to a minimum wage position of a non-hazardous occupation. It is not appropriate for people at war to make the same amount as people who work at McDonald's.

  • Guns really hurt

I say military recruits aren't paid enough. They risk their lives every day in a poor environment every day and the battle field, so many die. The training is really hard and so,e people are drafted in the military. Also have you been shot by a gum before, it hurts. (I have not been shot)

  • Are military should be paid more for what they do for this country and that they are shot at on a daily bases.

Are military are good at what they do for this country and the nation to protect use from other nations and attackers. Also they train for the worst scenaryos on their missions that they go on. They try to help us with are nation to keep in strong for ever

  • No, they receive many benefits.

No, US military service members are not paid too much, because once a pension is factored in, they are paid very, very well. A person only needs to be in the military for 20 years in order to receive a pension for life. Factoring that in, the military is one of the highest paying jobs that there is.
