• The topic is worded unfairly.

I don't think many people are going say that society is being too hateful toward racists, however I do think we are phony and dishonest regarding the idea of racism.

White people have become the avatar for racism; when you think racist, you think white. In that truth they're becoming victims of the very thing they are often accused of. Any critique or unflattering remark toward a culture that isn't their own and they are deemed racist and may as well be crucified.

People fail to realize that racism is a visceral feeling that all ethnicities are guilty of, and it's not going to be changed by policing language and public shaming.

  • It's a matter of definition.

The Merriam-Webster online dictionary’s definition of bigot.

“A person who strongly and unfairly dislikes other people”

Racist white people give black people plenty of completely justifiable reasons to strongly dislike them so no that does not make black people bigots.

You going to cry because you punch someone in the nose and they hit you back?
