Yes, some people may be in danger due to a huge ice block from the Antarctic breaking off. Continued global warming will cause ongoing problems with melting ice caps and blocks of ice breaking loose. Those most affected will likely be northern locations, but the ice could affect shipping and other oceanic activities.
With GPS and modern technology, it is unlikely any ship will run aground due to the ice block. However, it is a sign of far greater dangers. The governments of the world choose to ignore the inconvenient truth that are planet is in trouble unless we stop polluting and neglecting our natural resources.
Clearly, we are in danger due to the huge ice block that is about to break off in Antarctica. Soon cats will be sleeping with dogs, chickens will be falling from the sky, and people will start driving in reverse on all of our highways. We must act now to prevent this calamity from happening.
Some of the island nations may be in immediate danger but not most of the world's nations. I don't know how we can help those island nations though, we can't stop the oceans from rising by snapping our fingers, we need comprehensive policies to prevent any further damage to the environment. I wonder if some nations would be willing to donate land spaces, but I doubt that will happen.
