As someone who was born and raised in America and is now growing old in this same nation, I think that it is safe to say that we are indeed witnessing the fall of the American empire. We are no longer anywhere near as dominant as we used to be.
We are witnessing the fall of the American Empire, but there is still a chance for it to be saved as long as the American people open their eyes to see what is going on in the government. The people need to say that enough is enough and get the President out of office. The government is limiting the rights of the American people, which were set up by our founding fathers. The people had the right to tell the President that they do not want him in office anymore, but according to Mr. Obama, now they do not. Any words against or protests made near the President or anywhere near Secret Service agents can result in the one saying or doing the protesting to go to jail. They will be tried as a terrorist. If this is not the beginning of the American Empire falling, I would hate to see what it would look like.
No, we are not witnessing the fall of the American Empire. I think that while the economy is in a bad place right now, that it is not permanent. Eventually, we'll get past it. Moreover, the United States is still a huge superpower. A superpower like that does not just fall.
We are not witnessing the fall of America. The country is just in a rough spot right now. America will get out of this tough spot just as we have done in the past. This country has strong citizens and leader. We might be down but we are not out.
