  • Builds social skills

Being away from parents, and being with all types of people for extended periods of time, builds great social skills. Kids learn to cope with people they don't like, and create friendships with people they do like. It is a good opportunity to build social skills that will be needed in adulthood.

  • Summer camp is good for children.

We live in a specific type of world, where you need to face adversity and fight to get ahead. And I strongly believe that no matter which type of personality you are born with, it is good to face adversity from a young age. This is why summer camps are great for kids.

  • Gives Them Time Away from Parents

Weeks of summer camp are good for children in that it gives them time away from parents. Summer break is a great time to be away from school and away from family to just spend it outdoors or with friends in whatever setting a child wants. Whether it's Boy Scout camp, math camp, wilderness camp or cheer camp, there is fun for everyone.

  • It teaches independence.

Yes, weeks of summer camp are really good for children, because it teaches children good life lessons. At summer camp, children get their first taste of freedom. They learn how to cope with the day without parents around. They learn to pick and choose the things that they want to do. They make new friends, and memories. There are so many good things that a child learns when they go off to camp.

  • It's a good experience to be apart from mom and dad

Summer camps can be a very good things for kids. It gives parents a much needed break from their minions, and gives kids a chance to experience a bit of independence away from their parents. It teaches them bonding with kids from all over, so it teaches good social skills for latter in life as well.

  • Children should NOT go to summer camps

I personally think the idea of building your social skills and bonding with kids all over the world is a great thing but summer camps waste their children's time to do summer homework so if they don't dontheir wprk, hey won't be able to learn what will happen in the next year. Plus it's costs too much money to go there. Can you half the amount of the money in summer camp so it can be easier for parents to sign them up?

  • It depends on the parents

When children go to summer camp, their parents might think they would lose everything what they learned in school over the past few years. That means they should focus more on their academics, homework, schoolwork, homework, music lessons, choir and band rehearsals, sports and afterschool activities instead of summer camp.

  • Children should be in school learning

No, I do not think that summer camp is good for children, at least not the extended version that happens within the United States. The U.S. fall below many countries in the areas of education. I believe when children take extended breaks from school they lose some of the information that they learned during the school year. Summer camp does not provide the reinforcement that children need to advance in school.
